Introduction by Robert Shooter, Managing Partner

I am delighted to share Fieldfisher’s update on our sustainability activities to March 2024.

For us, creating sustainable value means addressing issues that are important to our long-term relationships with our people, clients and the communities where we operate. I am proud that this vision is reflected in both our values and our strategy. For me, this commitment is central to who we are as a firm and what’s important to our people.

In February, I was very pleased to deliver
on my commitment by announcing the appointment of our inaugural Sustainability and ESG director, as part of our dedication to driving positive change. I continue to be humbled by the inspiring and committed action of our people in making this change: across our inclusion networks, with our clients, striving for improvement with our environment and carbon footprint, and investing in our charity partners and pro bono.

We also need to keep moving forward. I am confident that collective energy and action will enable us to make a meaningful difference for our shared future towards 2030. A key part of this will be through a project that is particularly close to my heart – our next One Firm Action challenge for 2025.
