Representation across our partnership and workforce

It is important to us that we are building a partnership and workforce that reflects the diversity of our clients and communities. In FY2025, we continued to advance gender balance and broaden representation across recruitment:

  • Partner recruitment: 60% of lateral partner hires were women, exceeding our 50% target and improving on last year’s 45%.
  • Partner promotions: Women accounted for 46% of new partner promotions (6 of 13) – just below our equal split ambition but higher in absolute numbers than FY2024 (5 out of 10).
  • Inclusive recruitment: 32.3% of UK hires came from underrepresented groups, maintaining strong performance above our threshold and building on last year’s 30.6%.

While percentages can fluctuate with small cohorts, the overall year-on-year trend is positive: more women promoted and sustained progress on inclusive hiring. We will continue to focus on readiness for senior roles and targeted outreach to support representation.
