Our strategy centres on building a framework to measure the impact of inclusion initiatives and enhance accountability with clear governance and transparent reporting. Over the past year, we focused on establishing key foundations, including:
Delivered targeted guidance to practice groups and business services to integrate inclusion perspectives, enabling meaningful tracking and recognition of contributions toward our inclusion objectives.
Led a firmwide initiative for colleagues to review and update demographic information in line with the UK Solicitors Regulation Authority’s diversity framework. By the end of FY24/25, 63% of UK-based colleagues had updated their details. We went beyond regulatory requirements by including neurodiversity questions, creating a richer and more inclusive data set. To further increase participation, we will adopt a more targeted approach, including regular reminders and direct engagement with colleagues.
Assessed remuneration policies and practices to ensure contributions to inclusion are valued alongside client service and operational responsibilities. Progress will be monitored and reported as part of our ongoing programme.
Partnered with Human Resources to develop metrics and reporting cycles to track progress against gender, race, and ethnicity goals.
